Here is part 2 of the amazing portrait session with Mrs. Idaho, Naomi Gibbs, here in our Boise, Idaho Stokes Photography studio! Check out Part 1 in case you missed it.

Naomi Gibbs is Mrs. Idaho International 2017. Here's a quote from Naomi about her story:
"I grew up as a shy and over-weight homeschooler. I began a modeling career in NYC as a plus size model at age 18. Years later I fulfilled a dream of mine: becoming a talent manager and developer, overseeing the careers of numerous published models and actors at a national level. I also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology where I became certified as an Image Consultant. As I look back, I realize how hard these goals were to achieve, but I reached these goals because of my passion and believing in myself. It was in that process, I found the beauty in my struggle. Everyone faces challenges at some point in his or her lifetime. I have faced heartache and trauma that would have brought most to their knees. In truth, it brought me to mine, in prayer. Through perseverance, I triumphed over those obstacles and defined the memory they would be, not letting them define me or my future. Everyone has the ability to find the beauty in life’s challenges. I have been living this message for more than 20 years, not knowing that this has been my message my entire life. Each person’s challenge varies. It could be anything from the loss of a loved one, to a health crisis, to even a natural disaster. Some are short term fixes, and others are not, making one question: Why Me? I know that in my heart I was born to inspire, to teach, and to encourage women that one is only bound by his or her own limits, and to make the most out of everything in your life. This has led me to share the message and reach people with a book I'm writing, titled, 'Beauty of Success.'"

Naomi got this gorgeous raspberry dress with a bow was from Something Old, Something New in Eagle, Idaho. It is a beautiful, vibrant color that photographed well. Naomi's nails were done by Two Rivers Salon and Spa in Eagle, Idaho. Naomi did her own beautiful makeup.
